OUTDOOR BACKPACKS - Private Label Program

Project Overview: B2B | Private Label for U.S. Brick-and-Mortar Retailers
This project was developed for a private label program with major U.S. brick-and-mortar retailers, with a strong focus on balancing functional design and cost efficiency. The collection emphasized color and fabric storytelling, integrated branded trim development, and maintained strict alignment with retail pricing strategies—while still delivering a durable, consumer-ready outdoor gear aesthetic.

My Role: Design & Development Lead (previously Associate Designer)
I began as an associate designer and grew into the design and development lead, owning the full creative execution, functional ideation, and technical drawing process. I worked closely with the client’s merchandising team, branding department, and buyers to ensure alignment across design intent, retail needs, and seasonal rollouts—contributing to the program’s successful launch and expansion.

Notable Results:
This program helped the company quickly expand its retail footprint and established long-term, stable partnerships with major retailers. Several backpack styles became category bestsellers, with clients continuing to reorder annually due to consistent sales performance.
